With 700 acres, a golf course, marina, and some great hiking, George T. Bagby State Park has many recreational activities for its guests. Volleyball, tennis, bicycle rentals, and canoe rentals are sure to keep you and your family busy for a fantastic afternoon or weekend get-a-way! Friends of George T. Bagby certainly stay busy working to help support this Georgia park and its vast array of activities.
A few Friends of George T. Bagby State Park gathered on a cool Saturday morning recently to plant perennials at the park's entrance sign garden. Beautification of the park is just one many tasks that the Bagby Friends Chapter does during the year.
