This year we will once again be holding Santa Hikes! Each hike will be approximately 2 miles round trip but may be modified depending on the group.
For three Saturdays in December, we will be meeting at 1:00 pm to start our adventure. For December 3rd and 17th, we will meet at the Day Use parking lot. These hikes will head down the Riverside Trail to the observation tower. Due to other activities in the park, we will meet at the Visitor Center on December 10th to explore part of the Wild Turkey and Brown Thrasher trails.
We will provide hot chocolate for participants. If it is raining, we will be at the Visitor Center for an alternate activity: writing letters to Santa! The activities are free, but there is a $5 parking fee or display an annual park pass. Call the office at 770-254-7271 to reserve a space, limited to 20 hikers per day.
