Lonice Barrett
Barrett currently serves as a Special Assistant to Governor Nathan Deal. He is a veteran of 43 years in state government having served as State Parks and Historic Sites Director, DNR Commissioner, and worked on the Commission for a New Georgia. A native of Perry, a husband married to Carol for 48 years, a father of 2, grandfather of 5, and a graduate of Georgia Southern and Georgia State.

Will Wingate
Principal, Wingate Strategies, LLC
Will Wingate serves as President of Wingate Strategies LLC, a governmental relations and public affairs firm in Atlanta, GA. Will has blended his love of politics with his passion for land conservation, most recently serving as Vice President of Advocacy and Land Conservation for the Georgia Conservancy. Will has assisted numerous landowners in the preservation of their properties while lobbying the Federal, State, and numerous local governments on conservation issues. In 2012, Will was named one of Georgia Trend magazine’s “40 under Forty.” Will is a native of Lax, Georgia, where he grew up hunting and fishing the same farm his great grandfather purchased 90 years ago. Will and his wife Denise have two sons.

Andy Fleming
Executive Director, Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites
Prior to joining Friends as Executive Director in 2007, Andy had served more than 25 years in leadership positions creating, leading and managing local and national nonprofit organizations in Paralympic sports. From its inception in 1990 to its successful conclusion, Andy served as president and chief executive officer of the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games – the world’s second largest sporting event in 1996. Following the 1996 Paralympics, Andy led the creation and development of BlazeSports America, a national nonprofit organization serving children and young adults with physical disability. Andy has served in a variety of volunteer capacities, including ten years on the U. S. Olympic Committee’s Committee on Sports for the Disabled, as a member of the board of trustees of Leadership Atlanta, the board of directors of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, and is an active member of the Atlanta Rotary Club. Andy is an avid outdoorsman enjoying fly fishing and kayaking with his wife, Marina.
