September 23, 2023 is Your State Parks Day! In celebration of National Public Lands Day, Friends invites its members, donors, supporters, and frankly, everyone else, to come out to show your support for your state parks.
Virtually every Georgia State Park will be offering a volunteer opportunity on the day to allow you to give back and help take care of these treasured resources. Across the state, our volunteers are ready to help you focus on Birds, Bats, and Bees and the important role these and other pollinators play.
We also hope you'll take a moment to appreciate the beauty and history of these important places.
