In celebration of Super Museum Sunday, Georgia State Parks are offering free admission on February 9, 2025, inviting history buffs to explore the state's rich past. Step into the story of America’s first gold rush at the Dahlonega Gold Museum, or visit Roosevelt’s Little White House to learn about the legacy of the 32nd President. Experience colonial reenactments and black powder demonstrations at Wormsloe Historic Site, or walk through history on a guided tour of New Echota. Explore the Chief Vann House for a glimpse into early Cherokee life.Take a journey into the past with the entire family this month.

Bob Ross: Happy Little Trees 5k

They're Back Open!

Great news! General Coffee and George L. Smith are officially open again after Hurricane Helene! Crews have worked hard restoring trails and campsites, and both parks are ready for your next adventure. Heritage Farm tours are back at General Coffee, with select campsites, Burnham Cottage, and Hawks Nest now open. At George L. Smith, boat rentals and trails have reopened, with campsites and cottages set to return later this spring.
