- In-person: Stop by any Georgia State Park front desk—our park teams would love to help you

Anyone 62 years or older is eligible for the Senior discount on any Friends membership.

Just give our friendly team a call at 770-383-8900. We'll verify your account and get your replacement materials in the mail within 1-2 business days.
Please have ready: Your name, the email you used when joining, and your approximate expiration date.
Using Your Benefits
Your free camping night is one of our favorite perks to share with you! Here's how it works:
- Book your camping reservation just like you normally would (online or by phone)—easy!
- Pay any required deposit when you make your reservation
- Bring your Friends membership card with you when you arrive
- Present your card at check-in and watch the magic happen—your free night will be credited to your stay!
Friendly reminder: Please be sure to bring your membership card to check-in. Our park teams need to see it to apply your free night credit.
Specific Membership discounts do not apply during these peak holiday periods:

Some parks may have additional blackout dates around special events. We recommend calling ahead to make sure your dates work perfectly!
Good news: Your parking pass is always valid, even during these dates—only free nights are affected.
While we can't stack discounts together, we always want you to get the best value! Our park teams will automatically apply whichever discount saves you the most money. You're in good hands!

Helpful tip: Gift codes need to be activated through our office (online or by phone). Our park locations aren't able to process gift redemptions, but they'll be thrilled to see you once your membership arrives!

When you purchase a gift membership, you'll receive a special activation code for your chosen membership level. The lucky recipient then activates that code to receive their full membership materials.

The membership materials are mailed directly from our office (they can't be picked up at parks) and typically arrive in 1-2 weeks.

The Georgia State Parks Rewards Program is a separate loyalty program managed by Georgia State Parks. It’s different from a Friends membership, but it’s another way to earn perks while visiting.
