Answer the call of the outdoors and join us for the Happy Little Trees 5K, inspired by Bob Ross! This fun, inclusive event runs from April 19 to April 27, 2025, and you can complete your 5K anywhere, any way—walk, run, bike, skate, paddle, or use a mobility device. However you move, this race is all about enjoying nature and embracing the adventure!

  • Friends of Chattahoochee Bend repaired a bridge on the Flat Rock Trail, improving access for hikers.
  • Friends of Watson Mill hosted an equestrian clean-up day, bringing together 30 volunteers to update trail markers and make other improvements.
  • Friends of Smithgall with support from a passport grant, replaced broken picnic tables to enhance visitor experiences.
  • Friends of Cloudland Canyon organized a workday with over 50 volunteers, focusing on cleanup efforts, disc golf course upgrades, and more.
