Our Volunteer Heroes

Friends of Panola Mountain have been making a real difference through hands-on projects that keep the park safe and welcoming. On the trails, volunteers removed worn and weathered boards and rebuilt a sturdier footbridge crossing for visitors. When a water line failed, the group was on site helping repair the break and restore service alongside park staff. From planned projects to surprise repairs, their teamwork makes a real impact. Join a Friends group and be part of the difference—volunteer today and help our parks grow and thrive.
