We’re gearing up for the 2025 "Run for the Trees: Happy Little Trees" Virtual 5K, and we’ve got some fantastic shirt designs in the works. Keep an eye out as the winning design will be revealed in early October! Don’t forget, registration for this virtual spring race opens on November 1, so mark your calendars. It’s going to be a fun event you won’t want to miss!

Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by Hurricane Helene across Georgia and the Southeastern US. We are deeply grateful to our volunteers, park staff, and everyone assisting in restoring Georgia's beautiful state parks.

REI: Kids Event

You are invited to attend the 1st Annual Kids Day at REI Atlanta on Saturday, October 26th from 11AM-3PM. The day is designed for kids to engage in fun and enriching outdoor activities that not only promote physical health but also cultivate a sense of wonder and curiosity about the outdoors. We want to show them there’s a world of adventure waiting for them behind their screens.


Activities will include bike riding, bike care, test kayak, scavenger hunt, trash trapping demonstrations and more!
