Roast marshmallows and share campfire laughter at Chattahoochee Bend, or enjoy a hayride and campfire during Fall Fridays at Tallulah Gorge. Discover the myths and wonders of bats at Cloudland Canyon, or celebrate bat week with a craft at Amicalola Falls. Volunteer Highlights
Volunteers In Action

Our dedicated volunteers continue to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts by providing food, water, and assisting with debris cleanup alongside staff and crews to aid in recovery.

 

Aside from Hurricane relief, Friends of Hard Labor Creek used Passport Grants to complete a renovation project. They added new benches, fresh paint, murals, timbers, and rebuilt the rock wall entrance sign at the Trading Post, contributing over $10,000 in total.

REI Kids Day

REI Atlanta is hosting their 1st Annual Kids Day on Saturday, October 26th, from 11 AM to 3 PM! This incredible event is all about getting kids excited about the great outdoors—full of fun activities that promote health, curiosity, and a sense of adventure beyond the screens.

Kids can enjoy bike riding, learn about bike care, try out kayaking, join a scavenger hunt, watch trash trapping demonstrations, and so much more!
