What is it?
The Georgia State Parks Passport is a keepsake to help you document your journey through all of the Georgia's breathtaking parks and historic sites. It includes photos and descriptions of the park system from the mountains to the sea.
It also includes a series of mini-adventures to inspire your travels, such as Fall Foliage, an adventure featuring the top spots for "leaf peeping" and Waterfall Way which takes you to some of Georgia's most scenic waterfalls.

At the Parks: Passports are available at any Georgia State Park & Historic Site gift shop. Just stop in on your next visit and pick one up! Don't forget to get that first stamp or sticker while you're there!

Hearts In Parks Challenge
Experience Georgia State Parks through love in every form—join a Valentine's Day event, celebrate love outdoors, or spot hearts in the parks (think heart-shaped leaves, rocks, or a heart hand-pose with a scenic Georgia State Parks backdrop). Snap a photo and submit it online by March 1, 2026, to complete the challenge and earn your Hearts In Parks challenge sticker. Click here to find an event (or park) to start the challenge!

Monumental Memories Challenge
Explore Georgia's story in a big way with Monumental Moments at Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites! Participate in a Monumental Moments–themed event like a Scavenger Hunt at Don Carter or Old-Fashioned Cooking at Hardman Farm, or choose any Monumental Moments program at a Georgia State Park or Historic Site any time this year. Snap a photo with your Passport while participating in a Monumental Moments event and submit it online by December 31, 2026, to complete the challenge and earn your Monumental Moments challenge sticker. Make 2026 a year of monumental memories in the parks.

Happy Little Trees Challenge
Get ready to lace up your shoes and hit the trails for the Happy Little Trees 5K challenge. To participate in this exciting challenge, complete the Happy Little Trees 5K at any Georgia State Park from April 18-26, 2026. Don't forget to snap a photo of yourself during the race and submit it online by May 31, 2026, to complete this challenge. Join us in celebrating fitness, nature, and community!

Wander North Georgia
Georgia State Parks are full of natural beauty, and our partners at Wander North Georgia are the perfect destination for all your outdoor gear needs. To participate in this challenge, visit either Black Rock Mountain or Tallulah Gorge State Park and take a selfie at the Wander North Georgia store. You can submit your photo online to complete this challenge.
