What is it?

The Georgia State Parks Passport is a keepsake to help you document your journey through all of the Georgia's breathtaking parks and historic sites. It includes photos and descriptions of the park system from the mountains to the sea.

It also includes a series of mini-adventures to inspire your travels, such as Fall Foliage, an adventure featuring the top spots for "leaf peeping" and Waterfall Way which takes you to some of Georgia's most scenic waterfalls.

At the Parks: Passports are available at any Georgia State Park & Historic Site gift shop. Just stop in on your next visit and pick one up! Don't forget to get that first stamp or sticker while you're there!

In addition to all the fantastic adventures in your passport, Friends will occasionally offer Sticker Challenges. Below is a list of the current and past challenges. Complete the challenge, upload your picture and we will send you your sticker!

Stars, Stripes & Scenic Sites

Celebrate summer, scenic views, and Fourth of July fun with the Stars, Stripes & Scenic Sights Challenge! From watermelon-eating contests and classic games to summer programs and family activities, Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites offer plenty of ways to make "monumental" memories this July.

Visit one of the highlighted parks below and attend a Fourth of July celebration, or enjoy your own patriotic celebration while exploring the park. While you're there, snap a photo with your Passport and submit it online by August 1, 2026, to complete the challenge and earn your Stars, Stripes & Scenic Sights sticker.

Summer on the Rocks

Experience Georgia's rocky side this summer with the Summer on the Rocks Challenge at Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites! In celebration of National Trails Day and summer adventure, hike a trail, enjoy a picnic, take in a scenic overlook, or simply explore one of Georgia's rocky landscapes. Snap a photo with your Passport while enjoying your adventure and submit it online by July 31, 2026, to complete the challenge and earn your Summer on the Rocks sticker.

Monumental Memories Challenge

Explore Georgia's story in a big way with Monumental Moments at Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites! Participate in a Monumental Moments–themed event like a Scavenger Hunt at Don Carter or Old-Fashioned Cooking at Hardman Farm, or choose any Monumental Moments program at a Georgia State Park or Historic Site any time this year. Snap a photo with your Passport while participating in a Monumental Moments event and submit it online by December 31, 2026, to complete the challenge and earn your Monumental Moments challenge sticker. Make 2026 a year of monumental memories in the parks.
