Our Volunteer Heroes

Friends of Sweetwater have been hard at work beautifying their park. This dedicated group of volunteers recently installed a new arch at the beginning of the Red Trail and completed landscaping around the ticket kiosk. These incredible projects add both charm and character to the park. Their dedication shines as a powerful example of the care and heart poured into Georgia’s State Parks. Join a Friends group, and be part of the difference—volunteer today and help our parks grow and thrive.
