Our Volunteer Heroes

Friends of Chattahoochee Bend continue to support their park through projects that make a difference for visitors. With support from a Friends Passport Grant, volunteers recently repaired Bridge #4 on the Bend Trail, widening the bridge and increasing its load capacity to accommodate Action Track All-Terrain Chairs as well as ATV and UTV access for maintenance and rescue operations. Their love for the park shines through in every project they take on, from trail cleanups to accessibility improvements. Join a Friends group and be part of the difference—volunteer today and help our parks and historic sites thrive.
