Several years ago, we retired and bought our first camper. We set out to visit every state park in Georgia before deciding which ones were our favorite. Well, we've accomplished our goal and have camped at every single one! When folks find this out they ask: "Which one is your favorite?" It wouldn't be right to name our favorites here, but I will tell you what we always say. "Our favorite depends on what we want to do." Your favorite is going to depend on the same thing, so that is a difficult question to answer. In the summer and fall, we head for the hills. In the winter and spring, we stay closer to home (South Georgia). Over twelve years, we've just made our 127th stay in a state park. From time to time, we also visit other state parks. Georgia's are the best!
