"Deal Out The Fun" A Family Friendly Bicycle Poker Ride

Friends of Crooked River State Park will be holding a family-friendly poker bike ride on Saturday, March 6, at the park. Registration is open now at the park office and online.  Registration closes Wednesday, March 3. All riders will be required to sign a waiver. Riders will visit five consecutive stops throughout the park on paved roads and “receive” a playing card. At the end of the ride, the best hand will get a cash prize of $100. Registration is $25 for an individual and $40 for a couple or family of four (two adults, two children younger than 15). Additional tally sheets may be purchased on the day of registration for $5 and additional playing cards at each stop for $1.

Check in will begin at 8:30 am at picnic shelter No. 2. Riders will leave in three flights of small groups at 9 a.m., 9:20 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Total mileage for the ride is 3.4 miles. An awards ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. at picnic shelter No. 2. Winners must be present. All judging decisions will be final.

To rent a bicycle from the park, please contact park office at (912) 882-5256 for reservations and cost.  Bikes are limited in number.
