Make a Splash on January 1 at Tallulah Gorge!
Trade your cozy New Year's morning for a little cold-water courage at the Friends of Tallulah Gorge Polar Plunge! Join us on Friday, January 1, 2027, at the Day-Use Area at the Waterfront and Sport Center.
Check-in begins at 11:30 am, with the first plunge at 1 pm and a second wave at 1:15 pm Come ready to take the plunge, cheer on fellow plungers, and start the New Year with a story worth telling!
Participation is free, but everyone who plans to plunge must register and sign the liability waiver.
Want to remember your chilly adventure? Grab a souvenir T-shirt for $20, a long-sleeve shirt for $25, or a hoodie for $40. Stock is limited, and on-site availability is not guaranteed.
Not planning to take the plunge? You can still purchase a souvenir shirt or hoodie without participating. Just select "No" on the registration. Please plan to pick up your souvenir between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm the day of the event.
Registration closes on December 15.
