Black Rock Mountain's Tales on the Trail

Volunteer to help the Black Rock Buddies and park personnel with their annual family-friendly fall event on the Black Rock Mountain State Park Lake Trail.

Vounteers are needed to assist with parking, registering participants, coordinating sales and donations, leading groups around the lake, and providing refreshments at the end of the event.

Event participants will walk the Lake Trail accompanied by a Black Rock Buddy guide. Along the way, participants will make stops and hear interesting history and stories about the park and the local area. At the end of the walk, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a warm campfire and make s'mores.

The event is Free, but donations are appreciated.

A valid Annual Parking Pass or a $5 parking fee will be required.
