Friends of Magnolia Springs Helps Welcome Governor Deal

The Friends of Magnolia Springs State Park and the Jenkins County 4-H members worked hard to help landscape grounds at Magnolia Springs and welcome Governor Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal spring 2014.  The governor, first lady, and Commissioner Williams came to Magnolia Springs to attended the Jenkins County Development Authority Barbecue in Jenkins County.  Jenkins County Development Authority worked with the Chamber of Commerce to have the Barbecue at Magnolia Springs.

Friends of Magnolia Springs chapter president, Veronica Cowart, worked with the 4-H youths to give them an opportunity to talk with the governor and other state leaders during the barbecue.
