Beginning with Fiscal Year 2014, all Friends of Georgia State Parks chapters will have an accounting tool available to them for tracking all chapter transactions. The use of this software for expense tracking will eliminate the need for annual reporting, will allow chapters access to a professional tool to better track their financial position and address important audit concerns.
Chapters can access the software at aplossoftware.com. Each chapter has one designated person with access to the software and also one backup should the need arise. Statewide Friends can create logins as needed for your chapter.
Quick Reference Guide - New users should consider reviewing the Quick Reference Guide for a high-level over view of the Aplos system. Click here for the guide.
Here is a short video tour of the software. Additional training videos will be added here as they come available. This video also references the 990. Statewide Friends will file one 990 form with the IRS covering all chapters participating in Aplos. Your chapter should NOT file your own 990.
