The equestrian facilities at AH Stephens State Park are top-notch and getting better all the time thanks to great volunteers and the local Friends chapter. On Your State Parks Day, you can do your part to help keep the trails free of low-hanging debris. Low branches and vines can create a real danger to both horses and riders. Eye injuries, scratches and worse are all possible on an overgrown trail. With loppers in hand, you can make sure these trails are safe for riders and their four-legged counterparts.
