For the past ten years, it has been an ongoing priority to restore native plant species to Panola Mountain.  On Your State Parks Day, you can come and be part of the effort and help make a difference.

Many Georgia native plants struggle to survive amid habitat destruction, invasive plant species and wildlife threats.  The native plants at Panola are unique in that they occupy a rare granite outcrop and the surrounding area.  Volunteers can help us restore some of these plants and continue in the long tradition of making Panola one of the best examples in the Southeast.  Click here for all the times and details.
