What are your plans to welcome the New Year? How about making January 1, 2016 a date to always remember?
At 11:00am you can join the dozens of other folks braving the cold and taking a great, running plunge into Fort Mountain State Park’s chilly lake! The Black Bear Plunge is not for the faint of heart. This fantastic, annual event will certainly provide an incredible rush and thrill creating memories for years to come.
Pre-register for the 4th annual plunge by December 12, 2015 for your discounted event fee of only $15.00. Simply call 706-422-1932 or stop by the park office. You will also receive a commemorative tee shirt for participating.
After the Plunge, Friends will be serving hot chocolate and coffee by a warm fire for all those who will brave the cold!
Don’t forget to pre-register for your discounted price or come to the lake on January 1, 2016 and participate for $20.
