Come with us as we take a step back to 1800s charm during the Pioneer Days at Traveler's Rest Historic Site. Explore James Wyly's stagecoach inn and plantation strategically located it along the Unicoi Turnpike, a once busy highway over the Appalachian Mountains. Tour the house and see many original artifacts and furnishings, including works from renowned cabinetmaker, Caleb Shaw.
During our Pioneer Days, Friends volunteers will be providing live entertainment, historical demonstrations and fun for the entire family!
