Friends of Hamburg is anxious to share their great news! After much planning, preparation, and funding, their efforts are truly making a difference for their favorite site. Through joint efforts, Friends of Hamburg have broken ground on a 20x40 covered pavilion in the campground. This fantastic addition to their 30-campsite campground is designed to be a great gathering place for families, music, and community. Once completed, the pavilion will have electricity, water, and an 8x8 family grill. Picnic tables, ceiling fans, and even rocking chairs will be available for visitors.
In front of the pavilion is also a playground and horseshoe pit, perfect for family reunions, corporate picnics, and community fellowship. Funding for the pavilion was raised by this friend chapter in conjunction with a $5,000 donation from the local EMC.
Not only is this new, fantastic pavilion under construction, but Friends of Hamburg are had at work completing beautification projects as well. A charming new flower now welcomes campers. C and L Enterprises, Jordan Nursery and The Feed all contributed in donating flowers.
