Renovations of the Visitor Center by the DNR have begun and for the next 3-4 weeks it will only be open for the following: Hike Inn and A.T. registration, park passes and Friends membership sales, and trail and general information. Campground reservation check-in will begin at the VC on Jan. 22nd. A new short term camper parking area has been completed just beyond the entrance to the park on the right hand side of the road.
You will be able to purchase the Friends 604 Steps and LOST tee shirts and other retail items at the Lodge during the renovations.
