Junior Ranger

The Junior Ranger Program is a fantastic way for kids to learn about nature while having fun! Young adventurers can complete activities like nature walks, wildlife spotting, and more, earning their Junior Ranger badge!

Junior Ranger Camp—A week-long camp for kids ages six and up, offering exciting activities such as hiking, s’mores making, arts and crafts, and more!

Location: Sweetwater Creek State Park- Lithia Springs, GA


Spring Break Junior Ranger Camp—This three-day camp is perfect for 7-12-year-olds who want to explore and learn about the outdoors. Junior Rangers will craft, play, and earn their Junior Ranger Badge.

Location: Black Rock Mountain State Park - Mountain City, GA 


Junior Ranger Day Camp- Join this two-day outdoor adventure for kids ages 7-11, with exciting activities focusing on exploring nature.

Location: Victoria Bryant State Park- Royston, GA


Family Fun Activities

Goofy Golf Games- Grab a scorecard and participate in a goofy golf challenge with activities like corn hole, ladder golf, frisbee golf, and more.

Spring Festival- Celebrate the season with environmentally-friendly local vendors and delicious food trucks at Skidaway Island’s Spring Festival.

Archery- Try your hand at archery with a compound or recurve bow under the guidance of a certified instructor. 

Location: Magnolia Springs State Park- Millen, GA


Hit The Trails

Soak up nature this spring break with a family hike at Georgia State Park. Explore scenic trails, discover waterfalls, and enjoy the fresh air as you create lasting memories together in the great outdoors.

Eye-spy Scavenger hunt- Embark on an exciting adventure to explore the park to find hidden treasures, and you might even win a prize for your efforts!
