Organized by the National Association of State Park Foundations, the week brings people together across the country to explore, give back, and celebrate the outdoors. Friends of Georgia State Parks is proud to be part of it — and it’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy your favorite places.

During I Love My State Parks Week, pick a day to celebrate at a Georgia State Park or Historic Site. Cherish a favorite moment, explore a new park, discover history, volunteer, or simply enjoy time outside.
Snap a photo with your Passport showing how you’re celebrating, share it with #ILOVEMYSTATEPARKSWEEK, and submit it online by May 31, 2026 to complete the challenge and earn your I Love My State Parks Week challenge sticker.
